Is the instructor and owner of the company. He has more than 18 years of fire and safety experience, which includes 12 years in command and management positions. Curtis’ career has been built on practical approaches to fire and safety issues from municipal and industrial fire, as well as safety departments. As an accomplished emergency response manager and safety professional, his vision and expertise has resulted in notable approaches to solving today’s complex fire, safety and hazardous material issues. With Practical experience, operational strengths and education, Curtis has achieved success in managing large scale industrial emergencies, developing effective emergency response and safety programs. His strategic approach to emergency management has reflected in his work as Fire Chief for Morongo Valley Community Services District. In addition, as the EHS manager for Foss Environmental Services, Curtis has managed major emergencies including Oil and Chemical releases from all modes of transportation, natural disasters and business interruptions around the United States. Curtis is recognized by the following: California State Fire Marshals Office; California Specialized Training Institute of the California Office of Emergency Services; Santa Ana Community College; Miller-Sperian Fall Protection; National Center for Construction Education and Research; Mine Safety Health Administration and the American Safety and Health Institute.
