Throughout the world, in general industry, employees enter confined spaces to conduct a variety of tasks. These confined spaces can be extremely dangerous as well as hazardous with the possibility of a life-threatening work environment. Employers are responsible for ensuring proper programs and procedures are in place to keep their employees safe from any harm before making entry.
These confined space courses are designed to help employees identify, understand, and control the hazards while safely performing their duties within, or when monitoring these environments. These courses feature hands-on training with equipment needed to make a safe entry. The training will be accomplished through lectures, manipulative skill demonstrations, performance and scenario participation.
These courses meet OSHA requirements under
Title 8 CCR, Section 5156(k), 5157(k), 5158(k) and
29 CFR 1910.146(k) NFPA 1670 (Technical Rescue)
